Its been a while, and I have considered cutting the blogging out altogether, but God had other plans. I am happy to return. This is especially true during this time. I want to process through the things I’ve learned and am continuing to learn.

So, let me reintroduce this blog. This is me processing the world we live in through a spiritual lens. I am examining my own beliefs and the systems that led to them. My desire with this is to share what God has been teaching me and promote healthy thought and discussion. I acknowledge that I am growing. I encourage you to process anything that challenges you with scripture, prayer, and a spiritual leader.

Honestly, what led me to pull back previously was feeling the need to meet a specific standard.

I had the words I wanted to use, but were they good enough? I struggled with branding the blog. I also wondered what it would look like aesthetically. Additionally, I questioned how to market the blog. I felt God tug on my heart to continue writing. However, I allowed these other issues to push His voice down. This led me into disobedience. And finally, I stopped trying to perfect it and just ended up giving up. I believed that I was not ready or unworthy of having a blog without the other things. There is a larger lesson to be learned here.

So this first post, that has been sitting in my drafts for two months, will now be published without a fancy image or catchy title…just a simple act of obedience.
