Community

As we have entered the season of gratitude, I found myself thankful for the community that has cared for me and my family over the years.

These are the people that I feel God has placed in my life (some for a season some for a lifetime) that have cared for me. They have come in the form of family, friends and sometimes strangers.

Because I struggle with anxiety, I feel particularly blessed to be able to recognize how He has shown His care for me through His people. Those who have fed me when I was hungry, cared for me when I was sick, comforted me in grief and provided sound wisdom. He has shown me how to be discerning of who to trust, allowed me to be humble enough to ask for help and given me the vulnerability to share my struggles with people who can lift me up.

And in the same way, my hands and feet are free to be used to help those around me in the same way.
